We have another Giant Schnauzer breeding due in March so we'll be announcing that event soon!
Mississippi Giant Schnauzers is a hobby breeder. We carry the same lines, care and history of the last 12 years in breeding giant schnauzer puppies. We have committed to offer the same passion for this breed in our new location. All of our Giant Schnauzers are CHIC Certified, raw fed, and trained for the best temperament to ensure the best puppy for the new owners.
Giant schnauzer puppies are a unique breed, in many ways. Most of our dogs are very loyal, driven to work, and they are very playful. All of our dogs are raised in our home and not outside animals. Giants do not like heat, if its hot they want to lounge in the A/C, be in the pool or be on a cold floor. As puppies, they need the most care
As puppies, they need the most care and attention to make sure that they don't injure themselves during play time due to being a large breed. All of our pups get the most from being with their families or from being with another animal. Socialization is crucial to the overall health and temperament of a giant schnauzer puppy. We recommend a minimum of intermediate obedience training be done within the first year of owning this breed.
Giant schnauzers are very good with children, even when they are pups. However, they still need correction to know what is the correct way to play; especially as they grow. They are and will be forever laps dogs, even at 115 lbs. Most of our giant schnauzer puppies will retrieve very well, some take a little coaxing, but they love to play fetch.
